About Us

The Tennessee Meat Goat Association (TMGA) is a member-driven organization dedicated to supporting, promoting, and advancing the meat goat industry across the state of Tennessee. Our mission is to provide education, advocacy, and opportunities that help producers succeed—whether they are new to raising goats or experienced breeders and exhibitors.

TMGA serves as a resource for meat goat producers by offering educational programs, youth and junior involvement, sanctioned shows, and networking opportunities. We strive to promote responsible animal husbandry, sound breeding practices, and the continued growth of the meat goat industry within Tennessee and the surrounding region.

We are proud to support producers of all herd sizes and breeds, and we work closely with agricultural partners, youth organizations, and industry leaders to strengthen the future of meat goat production. Through shows, clinics, meetings, and outreach, TMGA fosters a community built on integrity, knowledge-sharing, and a shared passion for meat goats.
